The rules for trading days, strategies and general account conduct can vary by challenge, phase and any add-ons you've enabled, so always review the rules attached to your account. The guiding principle is simple: trade your Axion account as if it were a real funded account. This article covers what counts as a trading day, what's expected of your strategy, and how to keep your account in good standing.
Trading days
Every Axion model requires a minimum of 5 trading days before you can pass a phase or request a reward.
- A qualifying trading day is a day on which you place at least one trade. Some objectives may require more than a momentary position, so hold trades genuinely rather than opening and closing instantly to "tick a box".
- Days are counted separately — five trades in one day still counts as one day.
- Your portal records which days count toward the minimum.
- The No Minimum Trading Days add-on waives this requirement.
Your strategy
You're free to trade your own edge. Discretionary trading is welcome, and Expert Advisors are permitted where your challenge allows them. Two expectations apply:
- Trade genuinely. Strategies that exist only to exploit the simulated environment — such as latency arbitrage, feed exploitation or trading on platform errors — are not allowed. See Prohibited trading strategies for the full list.
- Stay consistent. Use the same genuine strategy and risk profile across your evaluation and funded stages. Passing with one approach and then switching to a completely different, higher-risk one on the funded account is not permitted.
News and weekend rules
By default, high-impact news trading is restricted (no trades within 10 minutes before or after a red-folder event) and positions must be closed before the weekend. You can enable both with the News Trading and Weekend Holding add-ons.
Account conduct
- Your account is for your use only. Do not share, transfer or let anyone else trade it.
- Never share your login details or account credentials.
- Do not coordinate trades across accounts to guarantee an outcome.
- Keep your platform and account secure at all times.
Where to check your rules
Your exact objectives and limits are shown in the objectives panel in your portal, alongside the detailed rules for your specific challenge. If anything looks inconsistent with your activity, open a support ticket.
All Axion accounts are simulated. Balances are virtual and are used to evaluate trading skill and discipline.
